WnBrowse is a simple and quick file viewer. The main feature of this program is that it can display files only in two formats: text and hex. The user interface is very simple, offering a handy taskbar from which you can access the program's features.
Although the program cannot display files in their native formats, it makes up for it with other features. For example, you can view archived files in Zip format without using a third-party program. Furthermore, we can apply filters to the search function to improve performance - that is, you can search for text as ASCII, HEX, or EBCDIC. In addition, font size and type, background colors, and icons on the toolbar are easily customizable.
There are some other notable features in this program: you can open large files (up to 4 GB), the program easily integrates into the Windows Explorer, and you can simply drag and drop files onto the program's window to open them. In general, the program may seem a simplistic file viewer, but it does its job quickly and efficiently - in addition, it is free and very lightweight.
